State Grid Corporation, following a legally mandated bidding process, has selected Beijing Bowayaxun Technology Co., Ltd. as the winning bidder for the procurement of goods—specifically, industrial-grade switches (Bid No.: LNMZ-2014-GW5)—in the fifth batch of tenders for 2014 conducted by State Grid Heilongjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd.
The winning bid this time is for the WitNet IAS3028 series switches. This product line supports up to 4 Gigabit SFP ports and offers 24 optional 100-Megabit interfaces—either copper or fiber-optic—meeting the stringent requirements of the IEC61850 standard. Designed for 19-inch rack mounting, these switches can be installed either via the front panel or the rear panel. They come equipped with a rich array of Layer 2 software features, including port management, VLANs, multicast, QoS, and fast redundant ring protocols, while also supporting multiple management options such as Console, Telnet, and Web access—as well as SNMP-based network management software. In terms of electromagnetic compatibility, the switches are meticulously engineered to comply with State Grid Corporation’s rigorous Level 4 EMC standards, effectively safeguarding them against damage caused by natural hazards like lightning surges, group pulses, and electrostatic discharge. Today, these switches have been widely adopted across various industries, including power utilities, rail transit systems, intelligent transportation networks, and automation control sectors.
